NO SOILED, WORN OR UNFINISHED ARTICLE, OR ANY ARTICLE THAT HAS BEEN SHOWN MORE THAN ONE TIME PREVIOUSLY WILL BE CONSIDERED. New work is given preference, and no article considered unworthy by the judge (whose decision is final) will be given a premium.
A PROFESSIONAL is a person following an occupation as a means of livelihood or for gain. This department is NOT for professionals.
The Fair will use reasonable care, but will, under NO circumstances, be responsible for any loss or breakage which occurs.
Premium checks may be picked up at the Secretarys office on Sunday, 2 pm. Checks for less than $20 must be picked up within 5 days after the fair or premiums will be forfeited.

MUST USE THIS RECIPE FOR CONTEST
Each entry should contain 6 cookies
NO-BAKE COOKIES
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir until melted and add:
2 1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet covered with waxed paper and refrigerate.

Extension and Nutrition Specialists are stressing the importance of properly canned food. The approval methods are hot water bath and pressure cooking. The recommended fruits to be processed by hot water bath and vegetables and meats to be pressure canned. For more information on canning procedures, you may call the County Extension Office at 330-424-7291.
No jars sealed with paraffin. Entries in Canned Goods should be in standard size jars, unless otherwise specified, with NEW standard lids. Remove all labels from jars. No cap or jar decorations.
