ENTRIES CLOSE FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2008

ENTRY FEES: 10% of First place premium, per animal, per class

All ponies entered in this department, must be stabled on the Fairgrounds and be in place by 8:00 pm, Monday,

July 28, and remain there until 7:00 pm the last night of the fair.

The management reserves the right to cancel any class in which there is less than three entries. Classes with only one entry will be automatically canceled.

No ponies will be permitted out of their stalls, except for judging after 9:00 am. All exercising of ponies must be completed by 9:00 am.

ONLY straw will be accepted as bedding ( No sawdust allowed). Straw WILL NOT be furnished.

Stalls will be assigned as the entries are received by the Fair Director in charge of this department. Please mark entry form with exact number of animals to be stabled.

No registered ponies are permitted in grade classes.

The age of ponies will be reckoned from January 1 of the year of birth.

No change can be made in any class after filing or from those stated below.

In order to protest a class, a protest fee of $50 must be deposited with Director in charge, or his secretary, within an hour after the protested class has been judged.

The management, with the approval of a certified veterinarian, reserves the right to remove any pony that has a cough or is running a temperature.

Premium checks may be picked up at the Secretary’s office on Sunday, 2 pm. Checks for less than $20 must be picked up within 5 days after the fair or premiums will be forfeited.

LOT 6 - DRAFT PONIES

First and Second prize ponies must compete for championship classes. NO ENTRY FEE is required for the championship classes. Ponies entered in this class cannot be entered in Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Ponies two years old and over must be entered and shown in one of the hitch classes to be eligible to show in any draft pony halter classes. Failure to comply with the qualifications will result in forfeiture of premiums.
