ENTRIES CLOSE Friday, July 11, 2008

ENTRY FEES:  $2.00 per animal per class;    $1.50 per wool class (Lot 14)

 

All entries in this department must be in place by 8:00 pm, Monday, July 28,  and remain there until 8:00 pm the last night of the fair.

 

No change can be made in any class after filing or from those stated below.  No animal will be shown out of its class.

 

All animals entered in this department must be registered or eligible to register, except natural colored wool breeds, and exhibitors must furnish registration certificates that will be checked by the superintendent in charge.  The judge will not consider or pass upon them otherwise.

 

All sheep to be shown must comply with the Health Requirements as stated in the Exhibitor Rules on the following pages of this book.

 

You Must  include your Federal Premise number or Scrapies Number on the entry form to be eligible to exhibit.

 

ONLY straw will be accepted as bedding (NO sawdust allowed).  Straw WILL NOT be furnished.  Anyone using sawdust will forfeit their premiums.

 

Premium checks may be picked up at the Secretary’s office on Sunday, 2 pm. Checks for less than $20 must be picked up within 5 days after the fair or premiums will be forfeited.

 

 

             Specifications of groups and classes:

             1.   Entries limited to 3 breeds per exhibitor.

             2.   Entries limited to 2 in each single class & 1 in each group class.

             3.   Pen of Lambs  -  2 Rams & 2 Ewe lambs.

             4.   Exhibitor’s Flock  - 1 yearling ram or ram lamb,    

                                                         2 yearling ewes, & 2 ewe lambs.

             5.  Yearlings must be 1 year old and less than 2 years.

             6.  Lambs must be less than 1 year old.
